Daniel Boswell

Daniel Boswell has over 12 years experience in public and independent education and a wide range of professional expertise working with learners ranging from preschool to college. He has also worked independently as an academic tutor, coach/trainer, swim instructor, and lifeguard for over 15 years. Daniel earned his B.A. in Political Studies from Pomona College before earning his CA Multiple Subject teaching credential and M.A. in Education. Daniel wishes to promote CLC’s safe, caring environment and continue to actively support learners in reaching their full academic and personal potential. His interests include ocean sports, hiking, college athletics, and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Emily Boswell

Emily Boswell earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pomona College, and a Master’s in Program Evaluation and Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University. Since moving to Santa Barbara nine years ago she has taught at the elementary level at Laguna Blanca School and Crane Country Day School and was the Admissions Associate at The Anacapa School. Emily has spent the last five years being a full-time mom to two amazing boys, and feels particularly lucky to be raising them in such a wonderful community. Next to parenting, and education, her greatest joy is enjoying the outdoors through running, hiking, and outrigger canoe paddling.
